Based on research that if you stop smoking for 28-days you are five times more likely to quit for good, England’s seven million smokers are being encouraged to take part in this year’s Stoptober campaign, starting on 1 October. Try giving up smoking this month and you’ll be in excellent company, as thousands of smokers up and down the country join in for the nation’s single biggest quit attempt.

The Greenwich Stop Smoking Service, in partnership with Charlton Athletic Community Trust, are here to offer you all the support you need during Stoptober and beyond. Whether you prefer online support, face to face or telephone support, there will be something suited to you. Find the best way to help you stop smoking.
There’s also a Stoptober app, as well as email and social media support including Facebook Messenger, as well as information on the different types of stop smoking aids available to you; including medicines and e-cigarettes – Stoptober is here to help you.
